Wow, when we decided to rent to a seasonal worker we thought there was a demand for that type of housing. We cuited it up installed internet and all the convenient things you would like to have in a small space. We are quite surprised that not one person has shown interest. Are we just to late with our listing or is there really not the demand that we thought existed? Just trying to be good community folks. Thanks for listening.

Luna ~ I can understand the exasperation!
Having followed up on many rental postings and viewings - there's a wide margin of "description" that gets used in today's valley rental market that is all about THE perspective in the eyes of the land-holder and is (likely desperate/beggars cannot be...) caveat emptor in the need of the lessee. Then there's the, umm, wide curve of rental agreement conventionality. The balance is off the charts... so I appreciate your community outreach with what sounds reasonable in the range of fair market rate and a good space to hang one's hat in (even for a short spell).

A suggestion is to allow communication for an exchange of interest off this site (or refer to a Craigslist post that has pictures). Having some privacy running down a rental is a small modicum of dignity allowed in the somewhat Sneech-like atmosphere of have and have-nots 'round here or the all-of-us Gladys Kravitz's watching our world through the window of the bulletin board.

...and now, we return to the regularly sedated program ; )

Hi! Many folks already have their summer housing sorted by June for seasonal workers. You might find people (including myself) might be more interested come September-November for the winter season!

Hello,

My son just got hired for a 4-month temp job and needs a place to live. Job starts next week. How do I view your seasonal housing cabins?

Thank you,
Kevin
