Price of Broccoli

Oh my goodness, it's $5.00 a pound at Hank's/Rosauers. All the produce is crazy expensive and it's summer! Just had to get this off my chest, not that it does any good, just have to pay it.

How about beets. $5 bucks for 3 small ones with wilted tops.

Time to hit the farmers markets or grow our own.

Grow your own food if you can. Sometimes I refuse to pay the price and just do without it, until the price goes down.
