orphaned twin fawns

Post by Bremelo » Mon Jun 10, 2024 9:20 pm

our neighbor has had a pair of newly born twin fawns on his property all day, no sight of mom. Nobody is interacting or touching them in hopes mom comes around!
Are there any recommendations on who to contact if mom doesn't return ?

THANK YOU!

UPDATE
mom was found dead in ditch
Thankful for any advice!

I just saw this today

If you see a fawn outside your house, do not touch it. Wildlife experts explain why.

Maybe someone can bottle feed them? I have done bottle feeding on many species of animals with a lot of success.

THANK YOU for all the outreach! Since the original post we have not seen the fawns, we have been searching and in touch with the neighbors and have supplies ready if need be...

Their mother came and got them.
