Bought a crosstrek last month - has a pulsing whiring sound coming from what we thought was a wheel barring. Fixed that, sound is still there. Also has some trouble when going up/down mountain roads when lots of shifting is involved. Like it rattles a bit, making me think I need to shift but it doesnt do well once I do so I shift back. Not sure if I need to just learn the clutch in the vehicle better or what. I've driven plenty of manuals so thinking it may be something else.
