Jul 22, 3:58 PM The fire is now known as Poorman fire, and air attack is assigned per WildCAD. No additional information is available at this time though Watch Duty will continue to monitor the incident.

Jul 22, 9:50 AM 4 jumpers on the ground

Jul 22, 9:22 AM JMP09 Size-up: 10th of an acre. Ridgetop. Grass, timber fuels. Backing and creeping. S light winds. Moderate to high potential to spread. Houses about a mile away. Requesting a a heavy heli. Jmp09 will staff the fire.

Jul 22, 9:17 AM Jumper 09 Jump Ship (J-09) in air above fire

Jul 22, 9:11 am All units can return to base this will be a forest boundary fire.

Crews on scene are requesting for air support per radio traffic.

Crews are on scene of a brush fire on the East side of Poormans

Smoke showing on east side of drainage. Asking for jumpers and air support

Observing light smoke. Possibly 1/10th of an acre. FD at Poorman & Twisp River rd, looking south. Unsure of access requesting smokejumpers.

I've noticed the pause too. Winds were a bit wild but hope they have calmed over there.

There's very little in the air right now. None that I can see are working this fire. They did hit it hard with retardant and water a few hours ago.

It looks like their main air attacks are going on at the Swawilla I Fire

Is it still burning?

See a lot of smoke and plumage from Twisp river road.

Have not seen Poorman ridge on any fire maps...

Watch Duty has it 100% contained at 3 acres. Thanks firefighters!

It suddenly got very smoky here, seems to be from the west. Rolled in after lunch with gusty winds and now a fair amount of ash
