Grasshoppers

Well it's looking like another bad season for Grasshoppers..Already have seen MANY baby ones..Anyone know how to get rid of them before damage starts??!!

Last year I made a habanero tea by boiling a bunch of peppers in water for an hour or two and sprayed that directly on the grasshoppers that were wiping out my newly planted locust tree, and around the base of the tree. The grasshoppers died almost instantly and the tree is doing great so far.
