I have a box with a stash of metal impact sprinklers that refuse to turn. Maybe the springs have weakened? Can anyone help me repair them?

Rainbird sprinkler repair
Re: Rainbird sprinkler repair
I just learned this from a rancher:
"If the flapper arm stays constantly in the spray of the water the spring is too tight. If the flapper stays out the spring is broken. Over simplified, but that is the spring's story. If the sprinkler is not turning the center core of the sprinkler is worn. It is called the bearing. You can buy this part new by itself."
I'll check with Cascade Pipe.
