Outward Bound is hiring a Base Cook/Kitchen Manager! This is such a fun role and involves being a central hub of the community who brings staff together for 2 meals each day. There is schedule flexibility and a lot of space for creative meal planning and experimentation on a group of grateful and happy outdoor educators.
There are two+ possibilities for this role:
Option #1: Pick up some high needs days during our busy training season (May) and cook for a group of about 30-50 folks on some strategic dates.
Option #2: Apply for the full role, serve as a kitchen manager: cook lunch and dinner 5 days a week, get experience menu planning and ordering bulk food, have schedule flexibility each work day, and make a lot of new friends.
