This Wednesday, April 17th at 6pm at MV Community Center Gym there is community meeting to discuss the benefits of Prescribed Burn Associations (PBA), which offer a community-based model of bringing back fire to private lands.
We are in the process of forming our own local PBA and are eager to reach as many people as possible, including current and retired fire professionals, land stewards, landowners interested in underburning, students and youth, agriculturalists, wildfire contractors and anyone else who is interested in prescribed fire. If you know others who might want to know more, please feel free to let them know. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Pizza will be provided.
