I'm looking to borrow, rent or hire someone with a tap and die set.

My immediate need is to fix the thread the male end of of a half inch galvanized pipe. Needs to be done on location near Twisp,

I have several other thread repairs but we can talk about that when we talk.

Normal tap and die sets don't include 1/2" pipe thread. You might try the lending library at Methow Recycles.
