April is Jazz Appreciation Month and we have a lot of events happening at the library to celebrate. All events are free and open to the public. No library card required!
April 2nd: Jazz Appreciation Night - We'll have a listening party in the library. Bring your favorite tune to share on CD or streaming, or just come enjoy hearing what others bring. 5:30pm.
April 9th: Dave Nolet performs Brazilian Jazz, starting at 5:00pm.
April 16th: Wayne and Linda Mendro join librarian Murray Sampson to play some favorite jazz tunes on saxophone and keys. 6:00pm.
April 23rd: Local drummer Will Lone brings his Seattle-based combo including Martin Budde & Dylan Hayes for an open rehearsal. They'll be working original tunes before performing at Confluence Gallery on the 24th. 5:00pm.
April 30th: George Schneider and Marcus Duke perform a mix of standards and originals. 5:30pm.
