Wood chips for Kestrel Boxes

Post by Burwinzer » Thu Feb 29, 2024 9:09 am

Looking for five or so gallons of wood chips to freshen up the nesting materials in Kestrel Boxes in the Methow Valley. We have around 20 boxes scattered around from Carlton to Mazama, and the returning Kestrels are going to be scouting for a home soon!

Respond here or call or text 206 550 7641.

Yes on the Kestrels having nesting materials in their nesting cavities. They are inordinately fond of Pileated Woodpecker holes, which are full of chips.
