THE TOWN OF WINTHROP is accepting applications for the full-time position of Janitorial and Maintenance Assistant. Duties include cleaning and general maintenance of the Town’s public restrooms, cleaning and general maintenance of Town Hall to include snow removal, yard and grounds maintenance, cleaning and snow removal at various town facilities and sites. Position includes lifting, ability to work outdoors in adverse conditions, working around cleaning and common yard chemicals. This position is 40 hours per week, five days a week and requires working weekends. Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record. Salary is $3,975.09 per month plus medical insurance, PERS retirement, Vacation, Holiday and Sick Leave.
