I often come across things that might interest a specific person. Connecting that person with it is fun and I just give it to them. In the past people have taken things under pretense just for the sole purpose of selling it. I try to avoid that. I buy and sell enough stuff to pad out my meager SS check. So obviously I had some stamp-y things I wanted to give to a stamp person.
I believe the funnest thing I passed on was a stack of antique bagpipe music books. From Scotland. Priceless to the person I connected them with.
