Yes, it does seem to be related to Android.
BUT ..
Why don't I have any problems on the West Side?
It is only here in the Methow Valley.
It must be some different configuration of settings on our local cell towers.

Talked to T Mobile saleswoman in Bellingham.
She said the problem is poor coverage.
She said there are no T Mobile cell towers in the valley.
She even looked on her map down valley as far as Pateros.... nothing.

I know someone in Brewster having the same problem with a Samsung phone and AT&T network. Could the common denominator be Android OS?

If you have a Samsung and I have a Motorola, that rules out it being a phone issue.. It could be an issue with Android O/S,.....but I doubt it. I have the problem in Winthrop and down valley all the way to Brewster. That makes me think it isn't a specific cell tower that is faulty. I'm heading to Be...

I spoke too soon.
Still having the same problem.
The network reset worked for a day or two, but now is ineffective.
Any ideas out there?

I solved it.
I did a "Network Reset," which I had never heard of.
I'm not sure, but I think it's a phone issue, not T Mobile.
