So does anyone know if N Cascades fire just blew up?? So Orange and burning tree smell

Conditions
Beginning Sunday, Aug. 4 at 8 a.m., SR 20 North Cascades Highway will close between milepost 148 (Granite Creek) and 157 (Easy Pass trailhead) due to increased fire activity. There are no detours of USFS roads. There is no estimated time to reopen.

Drove over last eve. Fire was right down along the road. Kind of wanted the pilot Velho to drive faster…
