Camp Create @ Methow Arts

Join me, Ali Greb, for a variety of Art camps held at Methow Arts this summer. Each week, you will use an example project as inspiration and let your own creative mind lead you!
Target audience: school age children. Lunch will be held at Twisp Park; free lunch option.

Recycled Art and Mobiles - June 24-27 - $100
Spend this week creating and seeing where your imagination leads you using recycled materials. Create a mandala, sculpture, mobile and other creations with recycled materials.
Zentangle and Faux Stained Glass - July 8-11 - $100
During this week you will learn the meditative art of Zentangle where you use patterns to fill a space. We will also create a faux stained glass out of tissue paper, wax paper and puff paint.
Origami and Collage - July 15-18 - $125
This week we will learn several different origami creations including : Crane, rose, and a box. We will use old magazines, newspapers and tissue paper to create a collage you can display.
Weaving and Bracelets - July 22-25 - $125
Create a god’s eye, wall hangings and more by weaving yarn and scrap fabric. Learn the basic knots of friendship bracelets, which you can use to make all sorts of designs.
Paper Mache - July 29-Aug 1 - $100
Learn how to use paper mache to make many creations, including: sculpture, mask, animal, flower pot and/or vase.
