i am in advanced kidney disease , I need some help building a go fund me site, I had to sell my business, I need to find some donations to keep me afloat anyone here have any experience building a go fund me site. No I have not found help I need yet, I will try room 1 good idea. I have been doing some videos for a site. not edited yet. doctors taking up most of my spare time. thank you.

I would recommend setting up a FreeFunder account instead. I had a friend who used GoFundMe for her cancer treatment and they charge quite a bit per transaction. FreeFunder does not charge per transaction so more of us can donate to you and actually have it go to you. I do not have experience with it. Did you find someone yet? If not, I would be willing to give it a go. Just message on the bulletin board.

When I have donated on Go Fund Me, I found that I could click on the "tip" circle and pull it to the left, thus reducing the fee to almost nothing, so all my funds went to the recipient.

Hi Steve just a thought maybe you could set up an account with one of our local banks Farmers or North Cascade for people to donate to help you?

If you set up a (non-business) PayPal account, others with PayPal can transfer funds to your account using "friends and family" option, where there is no charge. hope that's helpful
