ISO women’s skate skis

Post by kelseyray » Mon Nov 21, 2022 2:54 pm

Putting the feelers out for some used women’s skate skis about 170-175 cm, preferably with some flex for a beginner. Also looking for boots, size 6.5-7. Let me know what you got. Thanks!

i have the skis if you can use 178.
atomic foam core.
not a carbon fiber ski, so nice and stable with reduced bounce.
a little short for me.

Alf,
That might work out for me! Do you know the brand of skis? I can look up their sizing recommendations for me.
Thanks!

I have my back-up pair of 173 cm Atomic ARC Skate skis with Salomon Pilot bindings. $75. Salomon Carbon Pro Pilot Skate boots are womens size 7.5

In their day, these ski's were top of the line skate model, very lightweight on foot (so easier for beginner to control) and they have a soft flex.

If interested call local 6-4499, leave a msg if no answer with your contact #.

hi again.
atomic is the brand name.
they are racing skis for a lighter adult, but not the expensive carbon fiber ones.
i can ski them at 155 lb, but they turn too readily with this weight.
they are surprisingly stable at speed, and are very good for hill climbing.
they are mounted with the most common kind of nnn bindings.

if you are skiing past wolf creek, you can get yours off and try these.

I updated the size of skis I’m looking for after doing some research. Hoping to keep it local and give some old skis a new life!
