Yeah, didn't find them up there. I mosied around the parking area, kicking gently at black occasional lumps but they did not turn up.

I 4th Bob. And this is not a Black Swan event. Look at the history of the Valley when all the orchards froze, then other times. Perhaps if it happened say, in Sept. for 3 weeks or more, then I would say Black Swan.

It is good to report it to the sheriff even though they may not be able to do anything about it. But it will go on the record as an incident. Getting license plates and a good car description is good too.
