It's been in the closet for too long and needs to find a new friend.

It's lined with white fake lambs wool and features snap buttons.

I can't agree more with Lupinelovers finding.
I even traded in my snow skis for water skis and am heading way south.
A sunny New Year to all of you,

Need a Calendar ?

I have a collection of some 30+ years of all sorts of calendars. I have learned that calendars will precisely repeat themselves after a certain number of years and I use any older one that fits the then current pattern. It's a fun way to add a nostalgic surprise to one's wall, not to mention the oth...

Re: Mice in water softener

If you have the manual, find out how to bypass the softener.
There should be a switch/valve in the waterline that connects to the softener,

Re: Pipe insulation?

Rubber is a real good sound/vibration insulator. I live life on the cheap side and what I would do is get a bunch of bad inner tubes (e.g. Les Schwab, bike shop), cut them open into sheets and tightly wrap them around the pipe. Apply as many layers as you can. Hold them in place with duct tape. Afte...

Re: Snow Blower advice?

We have an 8 year old Craftsman 24" 2-stage blower, self propelled. The size of your job does determine the size of your blower and in our case we have to clear the entry pad to a double wide garage and a slightly sloped driveway some 30/35 yards long. I am quite pleased with the performance of our ...
