I'm thinking of switching to those instead of the toe warmers that need oxygen to keep going and after being in a boot for so long they give out.

We got a battery operated one last year from Ace Hardware. The thing is powerful. Had no problems going through almost 18" of snow. It is the Ego brand. No gas to fiddle with.
Just have to recharge the batteries. Does quite a bit before having to change batteries. I highly recommend it.

Thanks George for bringing this to people's attention. There are other places where there is the burning of piles right now.
